Client reviewed his journey and felt that while his anxiousness level has reduced and the traumas of the past are easing off he is still working on believing the world is a safe place and recognises that living in the new bungalow is a good start to feeling safe. He does feel sleep is still broken but also knows that his children are very young and this id contributing to how tired he feels.

What does the client want from counselling?
Client asked to review how to manage should he feel like he does not want to live any more which has not come to him for a long time and he does not feel that way currently and we exolored those issues again.

Risk Management Support Plan

The risk issues presented?

How have you stabilised the client and what strategies did you encourage them to use?
We looked at how to ground our selves when feeling low including a discussion about the samaritanns again and creating an envelope of happy memories and how to engage the sense of those happy times as a way of grounding ourselves prior to putting our safety plan in place which he thought was helpful Client felt he has come a long way and would like to train to a counsellor now and we explored how to go about that process and we ended.

What external support network is in place?
