Client's presenting issues:
Client is about to return to the workplace this week for a day but from the exploration in the session the client feels that a change in job may be the most realistic outcome for her so we explored all aspects around this issue.
What does the client want from counselling?
A place to try and work through how she can get back a sense of her old capable self. Also to feel heard and supported to make the changes the client wants to make.
How well is the client able to cope with their situation?
Client has been off work for a while and will return for one day before a two week Easter break. Client is anxious and apprehensive as to how this will go but in other aspects of her life she has had some good time in the garden which has helped her emotionally.
What is the client’s support network? (Family, friends, GP, Mental Health team etc.)
Husband and family.

Client does have episodes of feeling overwhelmed and anxious but is not wanting to harm herself or anyone else.
How have you stabilised the client and what strategies did you encourage them to use?
Client has found talking about things helpful to try and get an understanding of some of her issues and to do some of the things that she enjoys like getting out in to the garden.
