Client Case Details
Client's presenting issues:
Themes:
1. Explored A's thoughts and feelings around his sister clearing their parents house and A not able to be there to support her in that.
2. A spoke of his struggles with his Mum and Dad not being around to see how his little boy is growing and developing.
3. Explored what had been going on for A this time last year having lost his Mum and having his Dad living with him whilst V was deployed. Normalised his feelings and acknowledged that the next couple of months are going to be really hard emotionally.
4. A told me that he is going to be deployed abroad in August for 4 months and he is concerned about the separation from his family.
Recognising that this is a difficult time for A I suggested that the full 12 sessions might provide him with the extra support and space he needs at this difficult time of year. A agreed.
