Client is currently highly anxious as a result of the disciplinary procedure at work and has recently had a home visit from manager one evening, presenting him with a letter. Since then, the client has been struggling with anxiety.
How have you stabilised the client and what strategies did you encourage them to use?
Client is aware of the Samaritans. Used CBT techniques to reduce anxiety.
What external support network is in place?
I have advised client to see GP at the earliest opportunity.
